Is your place of business appealing to customers?

Take stock of your place of business. Are you showing your best face to your customers? Nobody likes to shop in a run-down store or walk into a messy
office. And a dilapidated warehouse or manufacturing plant raises questions about the quality of the products being shipped out the door. When customers walk through your doors, are they impressed or appalled?

Take time to walk around your establishment with a notepad, writing down items that need to be cleaned up. Take down clutter from walls, wash the windows, and make sure that the floors are clean and the hallways and aisles are clear. Remove old files to storage and get rid of equipment and desks that aren't being used.

Find some low-cost ways to make your business more attractive to customers. Put up a fresh coat of paint. Get the carpets cleaned. Take pride in your place of business and you'll be amazed at the positive response from your customers.

Nor does a crown endure to all generations (Proverbs 27:24).

Scripture: Know well the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds; for riches are not forever (Proverbs 27:23-24).
