Do you allow business problems to ruin your entire day?

Every business leader will face challenges; problems with staff, customer complaints, and difficulties in production are inevitable. At some time in your career, you're bound to feel overwhelmed. The key is in how you respond. Wasting energy by complaining won't help to overcome the situation.

When problems threaten to crush you, identify three things that will make a 50 percent difference. Then establish an action plan that involves both you and your staff.

Set other, less important, issues on the back burner, and tackle the important priorities immediately. Improvement will come as you successfully address the biggest issues first. Next, identify lesser issues that you can solve, then keep moving down your list of priorities until everything is back under control.

As you take decisive action, your problems will not crush you, and you will eventually triumph again in your business.

Wisdom is in the presence of the one who has understanding, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth (Proverbs 17:24).

Scripture: We are afflicted... but not crushed (2 Corinthians 4:8).
