Is any of your business equipment outdated?

Too often we allow the tools of our trade to grow dull or become outdated. This creates frustration for everyone. None of us like to work harder and harder only to achieve fewer and fewer results.

Consider making a list of all your equipment and then checking each piece to see if improvement is needed. Evaluate your cash registers, your computer hard drives and software packages, your copiers and fax machines, your plant machinery. Ask yourself, "Is each ax sharp?" Time has a way of dulling even the best and sharpest tools.

The improvements you make and the axes you sharpen in your business tool chest will make each staff member more effective and every day more profitable. Remember, the pros use only the best.

Know well the condition of your flocks [business], and
pay attention to your herds; for riches are not forever
(Proverbs27:23-24).

Scripture: If the ax is dull and he does not sharpen its edge, then he must exert more strength. Wisdom has the advantage of giving success (Ecclesiastes 10:10).
