Do you faithfully give your customers a full measure of your product or service?

In an era of downsizing businesses, with the focus on cutting costs, it may also be tempting to cut corners with our products and services. And, unless we have directly cheated a customer, we might even believe that we are following Christian teaching about frugality and wise stewardship by making the most from our investment.

However, any time we fall short of fully serving a customer, or we provide anything less than our best product or service, we have used, in effect, "wicked
scales. Any time we rail to fall a cup of coffee, or knowingly ship a product that is not first-rate, or don't make our best effort on behalf of a client, we have
measured with deceptive weights.

God will not bless such a business. In fact, He warns that "you will eat, but you will not be satisfied.. . . You will try to remove ... but you will not preserve" (Micah 6:14).

When we give our best, in full measure, to our customers every day, God will bless our endeavors, and we will dwell "in the midst of a fruitful field".

Differing weights are an abomination to the LORD, and a fake scale is not good (Proverbs 20:23).

Scripture: Can I justify wicked scales and a bag of deceptive weights? (Micah 6:11).
